Who run the world? Taylor Swift lifts the FIFA Women's World Cup trophy as the victorious US football team celebrate with her on stage in New Jersey

She's the dominating female force in the music industry and they just took the FIFA Women's World Cup trophy.

But it was a case of role reversal on Friday night as Taylor Swift hoisted the victorious US football team's trophy into the air and they, in turn, partied with her in front of a sold out New Jersey crowd.

Pop goddess Taylor, in her skimpy stage outfit, helped the American team celebrate their win with style as she invited them to join her on stage, much like he rest of her model friends have in recent weeks.

The 23-strong squad, who rose to victory against Japan last week, were still kitted out in their numbered soccer shirts when they hit the stage.

Though ditching their sports shorts for some more stage-ready outfits, the team added glamour to rival Bad Blood singer Taylor.

It was another chance to celebrate the big win after the three-times champions were honoured with a rare ticker-tape parade in lower Manhattan, New York on Friday.

The leather ensemble, which boasted cut-out detail and a structured bodice, coordinated a scantily-clad Gigi, who showed off her lean and slender frame in a skimpy bra and high-waisted pants getup.

Hailee, 18, caught the eye in stitched strapless number, while 29-year-old Lily worked the buzzing crowd in a white leather crop top and a tiny pair of matching shorts with fluffy knee-high boots.

Take style tips from Taylor in a jacket by Jaded London

Not since the Spice Girls have we wanted to be in a girl gang so much.

Being impossibly leggy seems to be a pre-requisite, but Lena Dunham, Hailee Steinfeld, Gigi Hadid and Lily Aldridge have each got a great sense of style too.

This weekend was all about Taylor as she took to the stage on her 1989 tour, and of course her BFFs were on hand to help. It was her time to shine, so this sequin embellished bomber jacket was just the thing!

It's by Jaded London, a label we've spotted on other divas like Beyoncé and Ellie Goulding. We love the mermaid green sheen and sporty varsity stripes. It's the perfect thing to wear over an all-black ensemble to go from simple to statement! Sadly the jacket is now sold out, but click the link (right) to check out the current collection at ASOS.

Or check out our edit below for more shimmery styles. Then wear yours with skinny jeans and a plain white T-shirt and party like it's 1989!
