So why aren't buyers falling into your lap, Jade? Ms Jagger struggles to sell home featuring strip club-style dancing pole

Perhaps it is the steep asking price that has put off would-be buyers.

Or could it be the feeling that a family home should not come equipped with a strip club-style dancing pole?

Whatever the reason, Jade Jagger is struggling to sell her North London home almost 18 months after putting it up for sale.

The cost of redecorating may be a further consideration for house hunters – the garish pink and green colours are probably not to everyone's taste.

From the outside, the four-bedroom end-of-terrace house looks entirely in keeping with the respectable neighbourhood.

Inside, however, it is a different story.

One picture on an estate agent's website shows the 38-year-old mother-of-two has installed a 12ft pole in her en suite bathroom – similar to those found in lapdancing clubs.

The kitchen has been painted pale green, while the sitting room floor is a shade of pink unlikely to be kept by future owners.

Fortunately, the bright pink-cushioned chairs will no doubt go when Miss Jagger does.

Potential buyers are given a clue to the incumbent's rock and roll heritage thanks to a pair of oversized ornate red lips on a table.

Miss Jagger's property is being advertised on the internet through at least two agents, yet has attracted just one bid, said to be well-below the £1.5million asking price.

It was originally for sale for £1.75million when it was first put on the market in 2008.

After 12 months, Miss Jagger reduced this by £250,000 after failing to find a buyer.

The estate agents describe the house as a 'magnificent' property with a garden, 'providing excellent entertaining space'.

Garish: The pink interior may not be to everybody's taste

She bought it in 2006 after moving back to London from Ibiza where she had been living for ten years.

Miss Jagger, daughter of Rolling Stone Mick and his first wife Bianca, works as a jewellery designer and was famously paid £250,000 to design a diamond-encrusted ice pick for Belvedere vodka.

Last year she lost her £1million a year job as a designer for Garrard.

She has since worked as a model for Debenhams and has her own architectural design company, although this was shown to have made severe losses last year.
