  • Helena Bonham Carter, 49, was seen with two pairs of specs on her head

SW19 was jam-packed with celebrities as the great and the good arrived for Wimbledon's men's singles final day.

And the majority of famous faces knew just what to wear, arriving in dapper, Wimbledon-appropriate linen suits.

With Benedict Cumberbatch in blue, Hugh Grant in grey and Bradley Cooper in cream, it wasn't hard to notice the sore thumb in a cowboy hat and unsuitably dark ensemble that was Aaron Taylor-Johnson.

The Godzilla actor, 25, dressed casually to watch the nail-biting Men's Singles Final between Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer, alongside wife Sam Taylor-Johnson.

The pair looked deep in conversation with a friend beside them as the match raged on between the two tennis legends.

Aaron looked comfortable sitting in the shade in a dark, petrol-blue denim shirt with silver hardware, as well as dark jeans and an earthy brown leather belt.

The actor topped off the look with an unusual camel, felt cowboy hat and gold-rimmed sunglasses.

His dark ensemble railed against the more conservative looks usually seen in these quarters. The unspoken uniform for men usually revolves around a light-coloured blazer and trousers combo, or even a suit.

Sam Taylor-Wood, 48, who recently directed the highly-anticipated adaptation Fifty Shades of Grey looked more suited to the occasion.

The filmmaker sported a delicate cream blouse with floral patterning and wore her blonde hair in a low ponytail with her sunglasses propped on the top of her head.

Among the other famous faces on show - or in this case, concealed - was actress Helena Bonham Carter, 49.

The British actress, who recently played fairy godmother in the live action adaptation of Cinderella, grimaced as she watched the match, brows furrowed and face hidden in her scarf in nervous anticipation.

Helena wore a summery pink floral head garland, but also took the opportunity to break the fashion rules - by bizarrely sporting not one, but two pairs of sunglasses on the top of her head.

Also close by was 49-year-old actor Jeremy Piven, known for his role in ITV period drama, Mr Selfridge.

The actor sported thick-rimmed glasses with a crisp white shirt and chestnut brown double-breasted blazer.
