Making a spectacle of herself! Kate Winslet COURTS attention in retro glasses as she leads the celebs at Wimbledon final

She is usually the main attraction.

But actress Kate Winslet took something of a back seat on Sunday afternoon - when she attended the men's tennis final at Wimbledon

The bespectacled 39 year-old was one of the many celebrities in attendance at the match between Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer.

The blonde performer was clearly taking the event seriously - as she wore a pair of studious-looking glasses in a thick, black frame.

Adding a simultaneous retro look to her usual image, she added a simple black tennis dress with white detail to the mix and wore her hair back in a casual style.

Together, she was evidently off-duty, but still managed top look great.

The Titanic star was consistently animated as the game reached fever pitch at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club.

Clapping wildly while jumping up and down, she couldn't get enough of the high-powered action on centre court in the capital.

Going make-up free for the occasion, she cut a natural figure but still courted attention.

She feels their pain! The actress gesticulates wildly as the finale reaches fever pitch

However, she wasn't the only celebrity at the game - she found herself sat next to actor Clive Owen.

He was typically dapper in a stone-coloured linen suit, which he matched with a light blue shirt for an effortlessly British summertime style.

Meanwhile, handsome actor Hugh Grant was also there. He enjoyed the championship's thirteenth day with Anna Elisabet Eberstein, the mother of his third child.

Likewise, although there was no English contender, Helena Bonham Carter certainly seemed invested in the game, running through the spectrum of emotions as events unfolded on the court.

Helena, 49, who was pretty in a floral green dress with flowers in her hair, alternated between laughing, cheering and hiding her face behind her shawl as she watched the game between the two tennis titans.

Former Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson, Italian football World Cup winner Alessandro Del Piero and Vogue fashion magazine editor Anna Wintour were also watching on Centre Court.

The Duchess of Cambridge's sister Pippa Middleton and Bradley Cooper were also spotted at the All England Club.

Meanwhile, British actress and presenter Lisa Faulkner was also a special guest at the event.

Wearing a blue, silk top with a pair of jeans, she adhered to the dress code with a loose-fitting jacket to err on the side of formal.

Of course, Benedict was keen to cut a dash and deliberately showed-up in an attention-grabbing suit with a knitted tie and white shirt.

Posing with a pair of sunglasses dangling from his pocket, the actor was joined by his father Timothy, who also made a sartorial effort.

Wearing a pink shirt under a black and white houndstooth blazer, he certainly answered any questions about where his son gets his thirst for style from.

Together, they obviously enjoyed some quality father/son time.

And, fortunately for them all, it was an exciting matchDjokovic was crowned Wimbledon champion for the third time after beating Federer in a nail-biting final.

The Serbian 28-year-old soared to victory for the second year running following a four-set thriller. He roared in delight and pumped his arms after winning his first match point, before eating some of the hallowed Centre Court grass.

In what was almost a repeat of last year's final, the World Number One sealed the win - his ninth grand slam title - in the fourth set of the game, despite losing the second set to his accomplished rival.

The Swiss 33-year-old - who was hoping for his eighth Wimbledon title - had triumphed following a lengthy tie break, winning 12 points to Djokovic's 10.

But Djokovic's form was too much for Federer and he went on to win the final set 6-3 after his first championship point, matching coach Boris Becker's impressive Wimbledon record.

Djokovic won 7-6, 6-7, 6-4 and 6-3 and will now earn a cool £1.88 million for his victory. Federer takes home £940,000 as runner-up.

Ace it in the style stakes with a pretty printed dress like Pippa

We knew that the Wimbledon final would attract a whole host of A-list guests, but we were most excited to see Pippa Middleton.

Ever chic, ever timeless, the Duchess of Cambridge's sister took the limelight (almost!) away from the tense match between Federer and Djokovich in this gorgeous printed dress by Tory Burch.

We love the playful seahorse print across the bodice and the contrasting textures of the grosgrain ribbon belt and airy, crochet skirt. Just like her monochrome Carolina Herrera look earlier this week, Pippa does things her own way - no tennis whites here!

And she's not one to shy away from a bit of recycling either - Pippa has actually worn this dress back in 2013 to a society wedding. Truly a staple of a frock then!

Sadly, this Tory Burch creation is now sold out, but why not get that Pippa flair with a similar dress over at FarFetch by following the link (right)?

Or head down to our edit below for our top picks from the high street. Head to Zara for that seahorse style, ASOS for a bit of bird print or play with textures with this gorgeous Hobbs offering.

Speaking after his victory, Djokovic told the crowd that it had been a 'honour' and 'privilege' to play against Federer - and that he ate the grass due to a pact he made with himself as a child, when he dreamt of winning the title.

He said: 'It tastes very, very good this year - I don't know what the groundspeople have done but they have done a great job.

'It's a little tradition - as a kid I was really dreaming of winning Wimbledon, so as every child you dream to do something crazy when you actually achieve it, if you achieve it and that was one of the things.'

Sadly, not everyone had a good day - just ask Lewis Hamilton. He was banned from the Royal Box for today's Wimbledon final because he was not wearing a shirt and tie.

Hamilton was due to sit alongside Benedict Cumberbatch and Anna Wintour to watch Novak Djokovic clinch his third Wimbledon title following a nail-biting final against Roger Federer.

But the driver was sent away by officials after turning up in a rather colourful ensemble, which included a bright floral shirt.
