Liverpool are facing up to losing another young striker with Jerome Sinclair stalling on a new deal.

The 18-year-old is highly rated at Anfield and broke into the first team towards the end of last season, but he is set to follow Raheem Sterling out of the exit door.

Sinclair has turned down a new deal, and Liverpool look set to cash in on the youngster who only has a year left on his current contract.

Sterling is on the verge of joining Manchester City in a £49million deal and Sinclair also believes his future is away from Merseyside and is keen to leave.

Liverpool hoped that Sinclair would follow another hot prospect from their academy in Jordon Ibe by signing a new long-term contract and committing his future to the club.

Sinclair has been capped by England at U16 and U17 level and made two Premier League appearances late last season.

During the 2012-13 campaign, Sinclair became Liverpool's youngest ever player at the age of 16 years and six days when he came off the bench in a Capital One Cup tie at West Brom.
