Just over one year after being involved in a devastating fatal car wreck in New Jersey, Tracy Morgan was seen in good spirits behind the wheel of a car.

On Saturday the 46-year-old actor was spotted flashing a peace sign as he drove down Fifth Avenue in New York City belted into a silver Lamborghini sports car with the top off.

The image is a shocking one as previously the comedian has only been seen struggling to walk with a cane as he recovered from his multiple car crash injuries, which he claims includes trauma to his brain as well as a broken leg and femur, broken nose, and several broken ribs.

On June 20, 2014, Morgan was released from the hospital and was transferred to a rehabilitation facility to continue recovering from the injuries sustained during the crash. He was released from the rehab center on July 12, 2014.

In October his rep said he was still in rehab and the following month Morgan was seen walking with a cane outside his home in New Jersey.

As of November 2014, Tracy was still undergoing treatment for traumatic brain injury, including daily speech, cognitive, vocational and physical therapies
