She is no doubt living in swimsuits as she enjoys a tropical two-week birthday getaway with pals.

And Jessica Simpson showed off the results of her grueling workout regime on Sunday as she flaunted her incredibly toned legs in a sunny vacation snap from St. Barts.

The beach babe - who turned 35 on Friday - captioned the snap: 'I love these vacation babes' as she posed with pals Lauren Harrison and Stephenie Pearson.

The fashion designer can be seen in a black one-piece with a net cover-up stopping just at the top of her thighs as the trio pose on sun-drenched decking.

She wears stylish black cat-eye sunglasses with half her locks pinned back, the rest falling in beachy blonde waves.

The singer accessorizes with huge silver hoop earrings and poses sultrily with one hand behind her head.

In another black and white photo the actress beams broadly wearing a native American Headdress, captioning it simply '35'.

Jessica opened up about dropping 70 pounds earlier this year, sharing with InStyle, 'I work out five days a week: three days with a trainer, doing a mix of strength training and cardio, and then I do cardio on my own the other two days.'

She added: 'Somehow I make it work, but I've slowed down since my wedding.

'I worked really hard because I wanted to appreciate being in a wedding gown again. I wanted to enjoy it like I did the first time. But I didn't have a weight goal; I just wanted to look healthy.'

And there's no denying the shoe designer looks healthy with incredible muscle-definition as she has shown with numerous bikini snaps over the last 12 months.

Jessica married retired NFL player Eric Johnson on July 5 2014 at San Ysidro Ranch in Santa Barbara county and the couple share two children together Maxwell, three, and Ace, two.

Jessica vacationed with 30 of her closest friends to celebrate her 35th.

A source told Star Magazine: 'She's paying for everything. She organized a private plane for all of her friends. It's basically a $2 million trip she's taking.

'Everything is paid for and they are going to the best restaurants.'

The magazine also reports some of Jessica's family members will be missing out, including younger sister Ashlee Simpson, 30.

'Ashlee was sad because she couldn't make it,' the source said. 'She couldn't go because she's about to give birth.'
