Starting them young! Ivanka Trump puts her children to work on a handmade lemonade stand (but admits the toddlers drank most of their profits)

Ivanka Trump is clearly hoping that her children have inherited her business acumen - and is wasting no time giving them a taste of entrepreneurial success.

The 33-year-old mother-of-two put three-year-old Arabella and one-year-old Joseph to work this weekend on a lemonade stand, which the two of them helped to build just a few weeks ago.

But while the young toddlers were apparently eager as anything to be involved in the family project, they haven't quite mastered the idea of profit margins just yet, with Ivanka admitting that the duo drank almost as much lemonade as they managed to sell.

Alongside an image of Arabella and Joseph guzzling glasses of lemonade at the stand, which she posted to her Instagram account on Sunday afternoon, Ivanka wrote: 'These two definitely drank more lemonade than they sold! #summertime #doubletrouble'

While they may have imbibed rather a large portion of their profits, when it comes to enthusiasm, the children can't be faulted - and their efforts haven't gone unnoticed by Ivanka's Instagram followers.

'I love the entrepreneurial spirit of kids! Innocent and goal-oriented... and enjoying the fruits of their labor,' one person commented on the image.

Another added: 'So adorable and sweet! Love that they are working and having fun.'

At the end of June, Ivanka shared an image of the newly-build lemonade stand on her account, proudly showing off her family's hard work with the image, which showcased the brightly-colored pink and yellow stall.

The image also showed what the family were planning to do with the profits from the stand, with a sign posted onto it reading: 'All proceeds will be going to the hungry children of New York.'

According to a second sign posted on the stand, the children were planning to sell their lemonade for just 50 cents a cup - and from the looks of the half empty jug in her most recent snap, the product was proving pretty popular with customers.

Just hours before sharing the precious snap of her children, Ivanka shared a rare selfie on her account. In the image, Ivanka can be seen standing in what looks like her living room, with her hair tied back into a bun.

The window in front of her is casting shadows across her make-up-free face, prompting her to caption the stunning snap: 'Sunrise selfie #sundaymorning'

And it seems Ivanka is just as popular as her children; her selfie garnered more than 8,300 likes, with more than 160 people pausing to comment on the candid picture.

'You look beautiful Ivanka,' one person said, while a second added: 'This is so lovely!'

Luckily for both Ivanka and the children, they were able to enjoy a sun-filled few days - unlike earlier in the week when they were stuck inside hiding from the rain.

Never one to let Mother Nature get the better of her however, Arabella quickly came up with a solution to their weather woes, performing a 'sun dance' in her family's apartment in the hopes that she might get the weather to change.

Ivanka shared a precious video of Arabella, dressed in a Snow White costume while standing on a children's table singing about the weather. As she waves her arms back and forth, she can be heard belting out:  'Oh Mr. Sun. Sun. Mr. Golden Sun. Please shine down on me,' while her one-year-old brother Joseph sings along in the background.

'Arabella, hoping for sunshine the best way she knows how - hamming it up for the camera,' Ivanka captioned the video, which she posted to her Instagram account on Thursday.

Nearly 5,000 people have liked the video since it was posted, with many people praising Ivanka for being such a hands-on mother.

'Love when you share photos and videos of your kids! Business woman, mom and wife! Keep it up! #inspiration,' one commenter wrote, while another added: 'You are genuinely the epitome of a WORKING MOM.

'You are truly an inspiration to those of us, esp. In NYC who strive for that Balance. Kudos to YOU! [sic].'

Meanwhile, others noted that Arabella, whose mom often snaps pictures of her playing dress up, has developed a particular penchant for emulating Disney princesses.

'I feel like Arabella lives in that dress,' one person noted of the little girls Snow White costume, while another added: 'She's always wearing a Disney gown lol. Cute [sic].'

And while the weather in New York City has had its fair share of rain this summer, Arabella did manage to get a pool day in earlier this month.

Ivanka snapped a sweet picture of her daughter in a floral one piece and purple sunglasses as she lounged in shallow water, writing, '#poolparty' on the Instagram caption.

The former model and her mini-me have been having a great summer so far. Arabella is a budding ballerina, and for their latest girls' night out last week the mother-of-two treated her eldest child to a night at the ballet.

The mother-of-two, who took her daughter to see American Ballet Theatre's production of Cinderella at Lincoln Center in New York City, shared an adorable video of Arabella playing by the plaza's fountain before the show.

In the clip, which was posted to Ivanka's Instagram account that night, a surprised Arabella can be seen gleefully running back and fourth every time the fountain's water shoots in the air.

Ivanka's stylish eldest child looked right at home at the ballet, wearing a pale pink dress featuring white rosettes at the hem.

Always one to accessorize, Arabella topped her look with glittery flats, a matching purse worn across her chest, and a bow in her hair, which was pulled back into a low ponytail.

Ivanka, who introduced her father Donald before he announced his presidential bid last month, is the executive vice president of development and acquisitions at the Trump Organization.

The proud mom has also recently shared photos of her husband enjoying Father's Day with their two children, as well as her son Joseph's visit to her office.
