An initial image showed the sisters stood near a window at Claridge's moments before they got ready for the big day.

The intimate snap featured the two blondes dressed in similar dressing gowns, which had 'bride' and 'maid of honour' embroidered on the back of them respectively.

The DJ captioned the photo: '#MaidOfHonor & #BrideToBe getting ready for the big day. #MrsRothschild.'

A second image, uploaded just minutes later, focused on the 31-year-old bride who seemed to be gathering her thoughts as she looked out the window.

Say I Do to Nicky's traditional wedding dress

So here it is. Nicky Hilton’s highly anticipated wedding dress to marry James Roshschild, and it’s nothing short of fabulous. Well, what would you expect from a Hilton sister?

The blushing bride wowed in her traditional wedding dress featuring a high neck and long sleeves and a dramatic voluminous silhouette.

It’s by none other than Maison Valentino and the intricate lace detailing gave the game away as the Italian fashion house put a touch of their trademark magic into the beautiful creation.

Nicky has been a prevalent figure in the style world and has her own handbag line, so we weren’t surprised to see her indulge in a high fashion design which showed little flesh and made it all about the dress. Simply stunning.

Sadly, Nicky’s wedding dress is not available online, but you can shop the current Valentino collection at MATCHESFASHION.COM with a click to the right. Ready for gorgeous gown overload? Find your dream wedding gown in our designer dress edit below....

Nicky looked poised as she showed off her sleek blonde up 'do, which would later be hidden by a lengthy veil.

The final picture, which was captioned 'love these custom-made @LouboutinWorld heels, the perfect wedding shoes', showed her sister's personalised white heels, made especially by renowned shoe designer Christian Louboutin.

The heels featured the brand's iconic red soles as well as the date of the wedding and her new signature, Mrs. Rothschild.

The images were taken just hours before the girls made their way to the ceremony.

Both Paris and Nicky looked stunning as they left for The Orangery at Kensington Palace just before 6pm.

Paris looked every inch the doting bridesmaid in a floor-length powder blue dress and silver heels.

Meanwhile, Nicky was breath-taking in a £50,000 Valentino couture dress, which featured lace detailing along the arms and neck and designed in a similar vein to the one wore by Kate Middleton at her wedding to Prince William in 2011.

The social media uploads also come after photos showed Paris, who is dating Thomas Gross, looking a little less than comfortable as a guest got up close and personal at breakfast on Saturday morning.

The episode had all the hallmarks of the awkward 'When's it your turn?' moment that anyone who has watched a younger relative get married will have had to endure at some point in their lives.

It did not seem to dampen the mood, however, and the wedding party looked remarkably fresh given that the event had gone on until after 2am.
