She's engaged to be married to long-time love Justin Scott, but Kimberley Walsh has said her man has put his foot down when it comes to a Girls Aloud reunion on their big day.

The singer, who will have former bandmates Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and Nicola Roberts, as her bridesmaids, told MailOnline Justin has banned them from singing Girls Aloud tracks on the big day.

'I have been categorically told by Justin that there will be no Girls Aloud reunion and that I need to pipe down!,' she said.

'He’s said no dancing, no singing!’ He hates things like that and finds it totally cringe and to be honest I don’t think the girls will want to be working on the day either.'

Kimberley, 33, gave birth to her first child, son Bobby in September and she admits her nine-month-old boy has been testing her limits.

She said: 'He’s a proper boy. He’ll dive head first off of the bed. It’s good for him to be confidence and fearless but it’s tough on my nerves!

'He’s only just started crawling but now he wants to walk, he’s determined like that. I’m glad he’s outgoing but you do have to keep your eyes on him at all times!'

Kimberley asserts that being a good mother has always been more important to her than losing her baby weight.

She added: 'I didn’t feel any pressure to get back in the gym. I was just enjoying being with Bobby and being a mum.

‘But I work on everything now I'm back in the gym, I am a classic pear shape – I need to work on my top half to even myself out!

'I didn’t pay attention to my stomach before but now I put more effort into it! It will be fine – I’m just not planning on wearing belly tops any time soon!’

Kimberley also said she is looking forward to seeing her pal, Cheryl, 31, back on the X Factor this year, where she will be reprising her role as judge alongside pop singer Rita Ora, 24.

She said of the pairing: 'Cheryl and Rita get on really well actually, it’s quite a good balance with them both on the show.

'Rita is a bit younger so she’s come from a different place but Cheryl is experienced and mature so I think it will be a nice mixture. They’re completely different characters and look very different too.’

And while she's used to watching Rita on-screen - after she appeared as a judge on rival talent show The Voice - Kimberley reveals that she's excited to see what new arrival Nick Grimshaw has to offer.

She said: 'He’s only just started crawling but now he wants to walk, he’s determined like that. I’m glad he’s outgoing but you do have to keep your eyes on him at all times'

Kimberley said: ‘We know what to expect with Rita, which is good but I am more excited about Grimmy because I find him so funny and think he is a lovely guy.

'I hope he will come into his own and that the public will love him. It is a big platform for him and a big challenge so it will be interesting to see how it all works out.’
