He'd been single for years, but it seems Matt Lucas has found love again with new man Luke Upton.

The Little Britain joker was spotted heading out and about in Beverly Hills last week with the 23-year-old singer, who he met on Twitter.

Matt, 41, and Luke enjoyed a spot of retail therapy together, paying a visit to Jimmy Au's 5'8 & Under Inc clothing store on Brighton Way.

The pair are said to have been dating since May after striking up a friendship on social media.

The comedian was looking dapper in brown cords and a pink shirt, with a panama hat topping off his look.

Luke cut a youthful figure in denim shorts, espadrilles and a breton T-shirt.

The new couple have been enjoying a fun-filled few days, taking a trip to Disneyland over the weekend, with Luke enthusing on social media, 'SO EXCITED! IM GOING TO DISNEYLAND TODAAAAAY'.

This marks Matt's first serious relationship since his ex-husband Kevin McGee, who tragically took his own life in October 2009.

Matt was utterly devastated when Kevin was found dead in his Edinburgh flat after hanging himself, just ten months after their divorce.

The pair, who wed in December 2006, were alleged to have split over Kevin's struggle with drug addiction.

A source told The Sun on Sunday: 'Matt was heartbroken for a very long time, and didn't even want to think about dating anyone until recently, when he met Luke. They really hit it off, which is great to see.'

In February, Matt confessed he finally felt ready to dip his toes into the dating pool and had been experimenting with app Tinder.
