Mr Stunt has been married to Petra, 25, since 2011 and the couple have a daughter, Lavinia. He has an estimated wealth of £5.5billion.

His father-in-law Bernie Ecclestone has previously described Mr Stunt's extravagant antics as way over the top.

The motor-racing tycoon said: 'When I saw James a few weeks ago, I told him quite upfront: 'You are a flash b*****d.'

'I said to him: 'Why are you driving around in that bloody car?' He was proud to tell me it's the only one in the world, there isn't another one.

'It's beautiful, but I said: 'What do you want this car for in London?' He said it's very comfortable. But I said: 'For Christ's sake! Where are you going in it?' '

'James has got another car following him with so-called bodyguards, but nobody's going to kill him,' 83-year-old Mr Ecclestone added.

'I told him: 'If any one wanted to kill you, which they don't, those guys that are driving in that car ain't going to help.'

'I think he got this from America. Everyone who wants to be known there has to have a bodyguard.'

A TASTE FOR THE FINER THINGS IN LIFE: BRITISH BILLIONAIRE AND GOLD MAGNATE JAMES STUNT

James Stunt has a taste for the finer things in life, with an impressive art collection, hundreds of cars, and is one of the top collectors of rare wines in the world.

The son of Geoffrey Stunt, a corporate printing and publishing tycoon, Mr Stunt made his money in the gambling, art, mining and Transcontinental shipping industry and now has a total wealth estimated at $5.5 billion.

The gold magnate has over 200 rare collector’s cars between his collections in the US and UK which reportedly includes two Rolls-Royce Celestials, three Lamborghinis, two Mercedes and two Range Rovers.

But he favours driving in one of his many bullet-proof and bomb-proof custom Mansory Rolls-Royces.

The 33-year-old British billionaire married Petra Ecclestone in a spectacular £12million ceremony in a medieval castle near Rome in 2011 to live performances from David Guetta and Black Eyed Peas.

The pair had previously met on a blind date in 2006.

Mr Stunt, a father-of-three, has a love of wine - he is the owner of one of the top five collections of rare wine in the world - and art.

He is said to be a lover of surrealists such as Salvador Dali and Cubust Picasso.

He previously placed a £12.5 million bid on a 17th-century self-portrait by Sir Anthony Van Dyck against the National Portrait Gallery.

But he lost out after the government placed an export ban on the piece citing its national importance.
