Jennifer Lawrence says Taylor Swift is a 'bada** b**ch' after pop star's triumph over Apple Music

Taylor Swift is still fresh off a victory after a letter she wrote prompted Apple Music to begin compensating artists during its free trial period.

And the 25-year-old's triumph did not go unnoticed by Jennifer Lawrence, who applauded the pop star during a recent interview with Extra at Comic-Con on Thursday.

The Oscar winner, 24, was so impressed by Taylor's efforts that she declared her friend was a 'bada** b**ch.'

The topic of Taylor was first broached after Extra correspondent Renee Bargh congratulated Jennifer 'for winning the gender wage gap fight.'

Jennifer is now earning double what her male co-star Chris Pratt will take in her next movie, Passengers.

The actress spoke out against gender inequality after it emerged she earned less than her male counterparts in the Oscar-nominated hit American Hustle.

Renee then added of Jennifer and Taylor: 'I feel like you ladies are changing the game in so many ways.'

The comments prompted Jennifer to immdiately interject, 'Taylor Swift is a bada**. That letter that she wrote about Apple, I texted her and was like, "You is a bada** b*tch." She's awesome.'

When Renee assured Jennifer that she was as well, The Hunger Games actress bashfully replied: 'No, she's a lot more well spoken than I am.'

Taylor has made headlines ever since her significant triumph over Apple Music back in June.

The superstar penned an open letter, shaming the tech giant for its 'shocking' decision not to pay artists during a three-month free trial offered to subscribers.

After hours of negotiations, the firm made a U-turn and will now pay every musician whose work is featured during the trial, which started on June 30.

'We hear you @taylorswift13 and indie artists,' wrote Apple vice president Eddy Cue on Twitter, after he personally phoned the platinum-selling singer to deliver the news.

In light of the news, Taylor announced that she had decided to stream her newest album, 1989, on the service as well.

Meanwhile, Jennifer continues to enjoy success in the film world.  

Along with Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth, the attractive trio will conclude their longtime roles in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2, which hits cinemas worldwide on November 20.

The late Philip Seymour Hoffman, Julianne Moore, and Donald Sutherland will also appear in the fourth and final instalment of the popular YA books surrounding Katniss Everdeen.
