Conor McGregor showed no ill-effect from his title-winning fight against Chad Mendes as he spent the night at the UFC after-fight party. 

The Irishman stopped his opponent in the second round with a devastating left-hand, which left the American on the canvas.

McGregor was meant to fight Jose Aldo but he pulled out with a rib injury two-and-a-half weeks ago, as he extended his record impressive record to 18-2.

The mixed martial arts sensation was keen to keep a tight grip on his belt as he posed for photographs. 

McGregor has now won 14 consecutive fights, and has a UFC belt and an enormous future date with Aldo.
