She's been working hard in Europe for the past week building up her already impressive modelling portfolio.

And even as her latest high fashion shoot attracts backlash from fans, Kendall Jenner didn't let the hate get her down as she got stuck into another long day of work in London on Monday.

The 19-year-old model dressed down as she arrived back at her hotel, matching her mum Kris who had toned down her flamboyant weekend wardrobe for a return to all-black as she accompanied her daughter to a shoot.Scroll down for video

Kendall looked casual but chic in her tartan Native Youth 'Spearhill' trousers which showed off her long legs, while she ditched her heels for some comfy lace-up shoes.

A grey t-shirt was layered under her loose-fitting black coat, which kept her dry in the dreary London weather.

The model hid behind €90 KOMONO 'Bennet' sunglasses as the headed through a large crowd of fans and photographers outside her city hotel, flashing a small smile as she headed inside after a long day on set.

The mother of six matched Kendall's casual look in flat shoes and slim-fit jeans, glammed up with a tux-style jacket.

Kendall was no doubt glad of her mum's support today as she battles backlash over her latest campaign.

The model excitedly shared her first ad for Fendi on Instagram, and though 1.1million people 'liked' the picture, it seems her fashion fans do not.

Shot by Karl Lagerfeld, the ad shows the 19-year-old model wearing a large fur coat, clutching a light pink Fendi bag.

Despite the criticism, Kendall has built a huge career for herself over the past year, topped off by a starring role on Lagerfeld's Chanel catwalk during Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week this month.
