Alex Gerrard keeps to her new LA gym routine... as husband Steven jets to Salt Lake City with his new teammates

With her husband Steven Gerrard regularly on the road for his football career, WAG Alex is no stranger to holding the fort at home alone.

And just two weeks after the couple moved their three daughters from England to California, her husband has already jetted off to Utah with his new LA Galaxy teammates.

Having lived in Beverly Hills for just over two weeks, it looks like Alex, 32, has swiftly replicated her former Liverpool routine of going to the gym daily with her nearly identical LA lifestyle.

The mother-of-three was spotted in a tight vest and leggings as she picked up a smoothie after another tough workout.

Presumably, her daughters were at home with a nanny or family member while Alex put in the time on the treadmill.

On Monday, Steven, 25, and his new teammates flew on the Rollng Stones' private jet from Los Angeles to Salt Lake City ahead of their game against the home team.

Galaxy face Salt Lake City in the quarter-final of the US Open knockout cup on Tuesday, and the winner will face either Houston Dynamo or Sporting Kansas City in the last four.

Gerrard made his debut for the Galaxy at the weekend, playing 45 minutes against Mexican side Club America in the International Champions' Cup.

Since relocating from England, the Gerrards are now living in a £18million six bedroom mansion in Beverly Hills with their three girls Lilly-Ella, 11, Lexie, nine, and Lourdes, three.

The 12,000sq ft mansion features an outdoor swimming pool and costs £35,000 a month to rent.

Steven is rumoured to be paid £76,000 a week, compared with £140,000 from Liverpool. 

He brought his Liverpool FC career to an end after more than 500 games for the team over 17 years and signed for Galaxy in January.
