Lara Bingle's mother was forced to tear herself away from her daughter three months ago and head back home to Australia, just four weeks after the birth of her newborn grandson, Rocket Zot.

But it seems Sharon Bingle has been having withdrawals as she landed in Vancouver on Monday to see her model daughter, new grandchild and son-in-law Sam Worthington.

The new grandmother seemed a little on the tired side following her longhaul flight to the Canadian city as she waltz through arrivals in a pair of slouchy tracksuit bottoms and a comfortable black T-shirt.

Grandma withdrawals! Lara Bingle's mother Sharon touched down in Canada on Monday to see her daughter and grandson, Rocket Zot, while son-in-law Sam Worthington shoots new movie, The Shack

Patent black brogues were on her feet and her small tote bag sat across her fingers, while her designated driver chucked her case onto a trolley and wheeled it through the airport.

Sharon wore little to no makeup etched across her skin, while her highlighted brunette tresses were combed to perfection and strewn across her shoulders.

Clearly exhausted from the 20-hour trip, Sharon's big brown eyes appeared a little glassy and drawn in as she nattered away to her chauffeur and hurried towards the waiting car.

Sharon was no doubt looking forward to seeing Lara, 27, Sam, 38, and three-month-old Rocket as the last time she had a cuddle with her sweet little grandson was back at the beginning of April.

The couple, who reside in Los Angeles, are currently in Vancouver while Sam shoots his new movie The Shack, in which he plays a grieving father who faces 'God' after his daughter is kidnapped.

Lara has always had a close bond with her mother, who lives in Sydney, and even asked her to stay at their Malibu home in the weeks leading up to the delivery of little Rocket in March.

Sharon was also seen leaving Cedars-Sinai hospital with the new proud parents on March 26, just days after the tiny tot was welcomed into the world.

Excited? Sharon was no doubt looking forward to seeing Lara, 27, Sam, 38, and three-month-old Rocket as the last time she had a cuddle with her sweet little grandson was back at the beginning of April

Meanwhile, back in December Lara sparked rumours she'd tied the knot with Sam after she subtly changed her Instagram profile name to read Lara Bingle Worthington.

And it seems the model has had a change of heart since welcoming their baby son into the world three weeks ago, as she's recently ditched the double-barrelled surname.

Lara, who is fairly active on the media account, raised eyebrows earlier this month when she randomly changed her Instagram handle and display name, simply to 'Lara Worthington.'

It's believed the blonde beauty may have dropped her well-known maiden name so that her surname now matches her little one's, although it's not known if this has been changed officially.
