Let me go: Erik Huseklepp wants to leave SK Brann now

Erik Huseklepp insists he will happily give up a massive bonus if he is allowed to join Celtic this month.

The 26-year-old striker is desperate to leave SK Brann after the Bhoys made a £1m offer for him.

However, Brann are reported to want double that amount while Huseklepp will be entitled to a £200,000 payment under the terms of his new contract.

But the man with five goals in 17 matches for Norway will gladly forego that cash if it brings about the move to Scotland quickly.

He said: 'The agreement was that I should have had the money in my account a few weeks ago but I have made it clear that I shouldn’t have the money if I’m allowed to go to Celtic in January.

‘This is my contribution to get this agreement in order. I really want to play for Celtic and to get my chance in the Scottish league.’
