Robin van Persie will be unveiled as a Fenerbahce player on Tuesday at the club's Sukru Saracoglu Stadium, as the striker closes in on a transfer from Manchester United.
The Turkish club revealed the news on Monday as pictures emerged of his medical examination in Istanbul.
The 31-year-old will put pen to paper on a three-year deal worth in the region of £240,000-a-week at Fenerbahce, although the two clubs have not yet signed off on the fee or structure of payment.

Van Persie appears set to depart United after three years as a player at Old Trafford
Van Persie has been at United for three seasons and netted 30 times as they won the league in 2012-13 following his £24million move from Arsenal.
His impact since then has lessened. Last season, the Dutchman scored 10 goals in 29 appearances under Louis van Gaal.
Van Persie will link up with former United team-mate Nani in Turkey. He joined Fenerbahce for a reported £4.25m last Monday.
United will have only Wayne Rooney, James Wilson and the injured Javier Hernandez - out with a broken collarbone - in their squad as recognised strikers with Van Persie's departure now imminent.
