She celebrated her fourth birthday with a fun-filled birthday party last week.

But Harper Beckham was still very much daddy's little girl as the Beckham clan touched down at LAX on Sunday, with protective father David, 40, clutching her hand as they made their way through the airport.

The adorable youngster was looking cuter than ever in a coordinated blue ensemble as she arrived in the US alongside her older brothers Brooklyn, 16, Romeo, 12 and ten-year-old Cruz.

Proving that she's following in the footsteps of her fashion icon mum Victoria, Harper was clad in blue patterned trousers and a straw hat with a matching brim, with a teal vest completing the look.

David cut a casual figure in a baggy black jumper and jeans, with Harper's pink backpack slung over one shoulder.

He was fussing over his only daughter, at one point picking her up and cradling her in his arms as they headed over to their waiting car.

There was no sign of former Spice Girl Victoria, who has been tied up with her fashion empire in recent months as she expands her business in Asia.

On Friday, David took to social media to share a sweet message for his daughter on her fourth birthday

Clearly proud of his youngest child, he captioned the shot with, 'Sweet dreams my little 4 year old. I think Harper Seven has had a fun packed day with her little friends... Good night little lady.'

Earlier in the day, he had posted another moving tribute to his daughter, uploading a picture of her as slumbering baby alongside the words, 'Possibly my favourite picture of Harper of all time... 4 beautiful years with the most amazing little girl... Happy birthday big girl...'
