Channing Tatum may be one of the biggest stars in Hollywood, but it seems that the Magic Mike heartthrob is not so famous that he can't lend a helping hand.

Tatum was at Comic-Con on Sunday when he and the stars of the Marvel superhero films X-Men Apocalypse, Deadpool, Gambit, and Fantastic Four all assembled for a giant group photo with the man who created many of their characters, comic book legend Stan Lee.

Then, when the photo was over and the 92-year-old Lee began to struggle as he tried to get down the stairs, Tatum was the first of the 30 actors on stage to leap to the man's aid.

Video shows Tatum, still holding the selfie stick used to take the group shot, break away from fellow actors Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman and place a hand on Lee, walking him down the stairs and off the stage.

Tatum later tweeted about the day; 'Superhero selfies and @TheRealStanLee ... All sorts of dreams came true in #HallH today. #SDCC #Gambit.'

Tatum is set to play Gambit - a ladies man and former thief who can manipulate kinetic energy- in the film of the same name to be released next year.

He is also a member of the X-Men, which has some fans hoping that Tatum will have a cameo appearance in the upcoming X-Men Apocalypse.

And helping Lee was not the only benevolent thing Tatum did on Sunday, as after he was done at Comic-Con he made his way back to Los Angeles from San Diego where he and his Magic Mike costars Matt Bomer and Joe Manganiello surprised one lucky fan at the ArcLight in Hollywood.

The three men crashed a screening of Magic Mike XXL and sang happy birthday to a female fan, much to the delight of the entire theater.

'Dropped in and sang happy birthday to a @magicmikemovie fan! Surprised the #ArcLightHollywood with #MattBomer and @JoeManganiello!' wrote Tatum on Instagram, including photos and a video of the performance.

Magic Mike, which Tatum produced in addition to starring in, has earned $50million at the box office in the past two weeks.

The actor will next be seen later this year in Hail, Caesar!, the highly anticipated new film from Joel and Ethan Cohen which also stars Scarlett Johansson, George Clooney, Tilda Swinton, Ralph Fiennes, Frances McDormand and Jonah Hill.
