Toni Duggan returns to training with Manchester City just four days after claiming bronze with England

Toni Duggan has returned to training with Manchester City just four days after helping England finish third at the World Cup.

Duggan posted a picture on Instagram of herself being greeted by team-mate Krystle Johnston.

The 23-year-old revealed that her team-mates gave her a 'lovely welcome home' after she returned to the Etihad Campus.

The midfielder will be hoping to help City return to winning ways in the Women's Super League against Birmingham on Sunday.

City have drawn and lost their last two league games leaving them sixth in the table, just two points about Birmingham with a game in hand.

Duggan was an unused substitute as England beat Germany 1-0 to seal a bronze medal at the World Cup.
