They've rarely been pictured together since they started dating over a year ago.

And silencing recent split reports once and for all, it certainly looks like Gwyneth Paltrow's romance with TV writer/producer Brad Falchuk is heating up.

The couple have escaped for a break in the Italian resort of Positano and have been wasting no time in getting romantic.

Positano, Italy continues to be a draw for the rich and famous as tastemakers like Emily Ratajkowski and Sienna Miller have soaked up the sun on its sandy shores.

Not it's Gwyneth Paltrow's turn as she joins boyfriend, Brad Falchuk for some R&R in a print Emilio Pucci bikini and white sunglasses.

Spending the day at a seaside hotel overlooking the Mediterranean, the couple doted on each other as they relaxed in the hot summer weather. 

Mother-of-two Gwyneth, 42, showed off her trim physique in a pink, yellow and white Pucci bikini as she soaked up the sun on the Amalfi Coast.

Meanwhile, Brad, 44, looked suitably summery in a pair of navy and white swimmer trunks.

The hot couple lay beside each other on loungers as they worked on their tans, before jumping into the sea to cool down as the temperatures soared. 

Their arrival in Positano on Sunday comes after they were photographed further north in Rome last week. 

Gwyneth was first linked to Brad a few weeks after her 'conscious uncoupling' from Chris was announced in March 2014.

However, it was revealed they had been secretly split for months before the announcement, with some reports claiming they parted ways as early as May 2013. 

By August 2014, it was reported Gwyneth had spent a romantic break with Brad at the $8,000 a night Amangiri resort in Canyon Point, Utah - the same hotel where Victoria Beckham spent her 40th birthday.

Around the same time, it was first reported Chris was romancing Hunger Games actress Jennifer Lawrence.
