Kylie Jenner attempts to keep a low profile during date night with boyfriend Tyga... after Hunger Games actress Amandla Stenberg slams her for 'appropriating black culture'

She found herself being dragged into an online row over the weekend after The Hunger Games star Amandla Stenberg accused her of 'appropriating black culture'.

And Kylie Jenner appeared to be trying to keep a low profile as she moved on from the incident by heading out for a date night with her rapper boyfriend Tyga on Sunday evening.

The pair were seen making their way out of the popular sushi restaurant, Nobu, in West Hollywood as 25-year-old Tyga drove his luxury green Bentley.

Kylie, 17, hid her face for view with her bright orange Birkin handbag but it was clear to see she had taken out her cornrows since the spat and she was sporting her usual glamorous make-up look.

It is also the first time the pair have been seen together after it was revealed that Tyga has reportedly asked the FBI to investigate who leaked a nude photo online to allege that he was locked in an affair with a transgender model.

The 25-year-old denies ever sending the photo although he's acknowledged it is real and his attorney Lee Hutton told TMZ they have reached out to the Federal Bureau of Investigation because they believe the image was hacked.

Hutton said the full frontal photo could have been stolen either from Tyga or someone with whom he intentionally shared the naked pics.

His worries don't end there as TMZ claims that Tyga's Cash Money label boss Birman is planning to sue the rapper for telling fans to listen to his album, The Gold Album: 18th Dynasty, on free music streaming services like Spotify and affecting sales of the physical copies.

Meanwhile, Kardashian star Kylie got into a spat with Amandla on Saturday after she was slammed by the actress on Instagram over a photo she shared which showed her with her hair in cornrows.

Amandla accused Kylie of 'appropriating black culture' without using her celebrity 'to help black Americans'.

So much drama: It is also the first time the couple have been seen together since Tyga was accused of sexting a transgender actress. While authentic nude pictures were leaked, the star claimed the story is false

The 16-year-old commented on Kylie's photo: 'When u appropriate black features and culture but fail to use ur position of power to help black Americans by directing attention towards ur wigs instead of police brutality or racism #whitegirlsdoitbetter.'

Kylie replied: 'Mad if I don't, Mad if I do…. Go hang w Jaden or something.'

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star was referring to the fact that Amandla, who rose to fame playing Rue in The Hunger Games, went to prom with Jaden Smith in May.

Kylie was widely rumoured to have dated the After Earth star, also 17, but they never confirmed their relationship.

The teen had shared a selfie showing off her cornrows on Saturday morning, which saw her clad in a grey crop top and matching tracksuit bottoms. She captioned the photo: 'I woke up like disss.'

Later that day, Kylie had taken out the braids and was seen with her dark hair pulled into a bun as she stepped out in Beverly Hills.

Get SO REAL like Kylie in her Dior Sunnies

Young hollywood sure knows how to look good. This isn't the first time we've seen Kylie rocking some Dior sunnies, but this version of the Dior So Real (and SO MUST HAVE this season) sunnies are the blacked out kind.

While she's rocking a rather casual outfit of ripped jean shorts and tank with her sold out Yeezy sneaks, it's her shades that are the arbiter of cool. The modified aviator frames with metal brow bar and half reflective mirror lenses are uniquely Dior.

Shop the Dior "So Real" sunglasses at Neiman Marcus or check out other cool shades that will help you look instantly cooler. Illesteva, Jeepers Peepers, and Express have great selections, but a similar pair of uber cool Dior sunglasses are our favorite. Put on these shades and see the world through retro chic glasses.

Amandla made headlines earlier this year when she released an intelligent and thought-provoking video discussing the issues of cultural appropriation, posing the question: 'What would America be like if we loved black people as much as we love black culture?'

In the clip, titled Don't Cash Crop My Cornrows, the teen says: 'Appropriation occurs when a style leads to racist generalizations or stereotypes where it originated but is deemed as high-fashion, cool or funny when the privileged take it for themselves.

'Hip hop stems from a black struggle, it stems from jazz and blues, styles of music African-Americans created to retain humanity in the face of adversity. On a smaller scale but in a similar vein, braids and cornrows are not merely stylistic. They’re necessary to keep black hair neat.'
