As far as fantasy novels go the Harry Potter and Game of Thrones book series are undoubtedly among the biggest.

So as Maisie Williams took to Instagram on Sunday to share pictures of what she got up to at Comic-Con 2015 there was no doubt her uploads would soon make global trending lists.

Setting new levels of awesomeness, in one of the snaps the 18-year-old actress was seen flashing her pearly whites alongside none other than Hogwarts' finest wizard Daniel Radcliffe.

Aware of the extraordinary power her selfie, which also starred Jenna Coleman and Hannah Murray, packed, Maisie anticipated mass hysteria would follow once the post hit her Instagram wall.

She captioned the image: 'I think this photo is gonna make the world implode..... Last night was really great #sdcc2015'.

Having made the day, and possibly lives, of some followers, many of Maisie's fan took to the comment section to share their appreciation.

Alongside playing the role of the very independent and vengeance-filled Arya Stark in Game of Thrones, Maisie is set to feature in the new series of Doctor Who.

Starring in a guest role, the Bristol born actress makes a cryptic appearance in the season nine trailer for sci-fi favourite, which was debuted at Comic-Con on Thursday.

In the clip, Maisie engages in a puzzling exchange with The Doctor, played by Peter Capaldi, as he watches on in astonishment as she unmasks herself.
