The 5 Seconds Of Summer boys made a relatively speedy exit through LAX Airport on Friday with some help.

The Australian pop-rock boy battled their way out of Tom Bradley International terminal on Friday, flanked by multiple burly body guards.

The muscle-bound security men helped Calum Hood, 19, Michael Clifford, 20, Luke Hemmings, 19 and Ashton Irwin, 21, fight their way through hoards of screaming female fans and photographers.

Seemingly aware of what might be waiting for them, the boys walked behind a bald-headed, tattooed body guard.

But the four-piece group appeared relaxed as they made their way through crowds.

The casually clad boys had female fans, young and old, excited and reaching for their cameras and grinned wryly at the attention.

However their beefy guards weren't letting anyone get too close to the chart-topping band, almost appearing to push fans out of the way.

At one point, a body guard had a firm grip around Calum's waist as he walked him swiftly through the waiting crowd, leaving the young star looking a little embarrassed.

Despite the summer weather Calum sported a green beanie over his hair, along with ripped skinny black jeans and black high-top sneakers.

He also sported a layered long sleeve top, pulled up over his elbows and exposing his tattoos with his sunglasses hanging off the centre of his neckline.

Meanwhile, Michael also appeared to feel the chill, sporting a graffiti filled denim jacket.

Pop of colour: Despite the summer weather the 19-year-old donned a green beanie, which added a pop of colour to his monochrome outfit

Embarrassed? The pop-rock star looked a little embarrassed as he was led to their waiting car

Adding a rock 'n' roll vibe to his ensemble, the popstar wore a vintage style black AC/DC T-shirt with skinny black jeans.

He covered his longer and usually colourful locks with a backwards baseball cap.

The young star looked fit and healthy after an incident on stage in London last month, left him with burns to part of his face.

Looking sharp! Luke added leather ankle boots to his black outfit and throwing an unbuttoned red and black check shirt over the top of his T-shirt

Luke looked sharp in his airplane ensemble, wearing leather black ankle boots with his black skinny jeans and v-neck T-Shirt with a red and black check shirt worn over the top unbuttoned.

Adding rock-star cool, the young musician kept his black sunglasses on as he walked out of the airport alongside a bearded body guard in a white shirt.

Drummer Ashton Irwin is understood to have been with the boys but remained hidden from the cameras.
