And it seems Jerry Bruckheimer's taste in property is no less refined.
This is his family's sprawling Los Angeles home, which was uniquely built to 'interact' with the outdoors through skylights, glass walls and vast balconies.
Once again, he's landed on a winner: the enclosed home, which he bought in the mid-80s for $1.8 million, is now up for sale, listed for a cool $14.5 million.

Property buffs: Bruckheimer, 71, and his novelist wife Linda Sue Cobb, 70, (together, left, in 2009) have a plethora of properties including a farm in Kentucky, and a ranch in Hollywood. The couple spend most of their time in LA where Bruckheimer's production company is based
The mid-century 9,030-square-foot home was designed in 1965 by Case Study architect Thorton Abell to fit around the sycamore and oak trees on the land in Brentwood Park, California. It is surrounded by a wall of bamboo trees, adding to the oriental style.
Made of classic mid-60s steel, glass and wood, it boasts three garden areas - one for the living area, one for the guesthouse, and one for the master suite, according to realtor Deasy/Penner Partners.
The living room has an entire wall of glass looking out on to the delicate green pavilion.
Would-be buyers can also look forward to the Japanese-style formal dining room, a study with domed skylights, an open-plan kitchen and breakfast room, and a so-called 'media room' with state of the art viewing technology.

It is one of the couple's many luxurious properties, including a farm in Kentucky and a ranch in Hollywood.
Worth an estimated $850 million, Bruckheimer earned his star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame in 2013, after four decades in the business. His successes have included Beverly Hills Cop, Flashdance, Top Gun, Coyote Ugly, Armageddon, Black Hawk Down, Pearl Harbor, Pirates of the Caribbean, and National Treasure.
