Nap time! Hilaria Baldwin shares heartwarming snap of newborn son Rafael sleeping on his father Alec's chest

He was born just shy of a month ago.

But it appears Alec Baldwin and his newborn son Rafael appear to already be completely in sync.

On Tuesday Hilaria Baldwin shared a heartwarming snap of father and son taking a nap together, with little Rafael snoozing on Alec's chest.

The two are both sleeping in bed wearing pyjamas as the 57-year-old keeps a protective hand on his son while a cozy blanket covers them.

'Señor Baldwin y señorito Baldwinito', Hilaria, 31, captioned the snap.

The yoga instructor-turned-lifestyle guru recently gushed about her little man even describing which parent he most resembles at just one-month-old.

'We think Carmen has my nose and ears, Rafa has Alec's nose and ears,' she explained talking about her kids, including eldest daughter, one.

'They seem to have my chin and mouth, and it looks like he, like his sister, has Baldwin eyes. At least the shape...we will see if they become that incredible blue, like hers.'

Adding: 'It's hard to tell from this photo, but he is much darker than she is. Carmen is so fair and he is more olive. Oh! And Carmen has Alec's hands and feet and Rafa has mine. So funny how genetics play out, no? But they do seem to look alike!'

Rafael is Alec's first son, he also has a 19-year-old daughter Ireland with ex-wife Kim Basinger.

Before Hilaria gave birth to Rafael, the star revealed how Carmen was looking forward to the arrival of her little brother.

When asked by The Bump if Carmen was eager to become an older sibling, Hilaria responded: 'I think she kind of gets it. She wants to go play in his room and go in his crib. She pats and kisses my belly, and asks in Spanish, "How are you today baby?"

'She does all of these things that are very sweet, but I think the reality that someone new is going to be here and isn’t going to go away isn’t something that she's able to comprehend just yet.'
