'Aging gracefully is to let it happen': Courtney Love reveals her new all-natural approach to beauty... despite previously admitting to going under the knife

She's the former queen of hardcore rock, but her beauty regime as of late seems to be anything but grunge.

In the August issue of Harper's Bazaar, Courtney Love, 51, explained she has turned over a new leaf in how she defies the wrinkling process, even after her several plastic surgery procedures decades prior.

'Aging gracefully is to let it happen,' she shared of her recent all-natural approach to growing old.

'For whatever reason, I have genetically good skin,' Courtney said.

'People in my family can become overweight, but they don't wrinkle. I'm blessed that way.'

Good genes aside, the widow of rocker Kurt Cobain understands that there is no fountain of youth.

'I've really turned a corner in the past three or four years,' she continued.

The mother-of-one keeps herself looking her best with Pilates and yoga as well as a 'good spiritual hygiene' and juice cleansing with her favorite NutriBullet nutrition extraction machine.

In fact, she described her new path as following in the footsteps of those actresses who lead healthy lifestyles.

'You see actresses get work done and it makes them unrecognizable,' she stated. 'I look at these actresses like Diane Keaton, who has never anything done, and I think that's cool. It's sexy, really.'

But Courtney herself has gone under the knife, specifically when she was in her early 20s and 30s.

The former Hole singer has previously admitted to getting work done on her nose and face.

Most recently, she appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and divulged her nose job. 'I got my nose fixed. I was 20 when I did it. No regrets.'

In November 2013, she confirmed to Canadian magazine Fashion: 'Nobody ask me about aging gracefully. C'mon I took advice from Goldie Hawn when she said I should get a facelift at 35!'

Love's new beauty behavior has been fueled by her desires to return to acting.

The star was featured on the hit Fox series Empire for a multi-episode arc in which she portrayed Elle Dallas, a troubled rock singer trying to make a comeback in the music industry.

She even sat down with actor Sean Penn for career advice.

'I always think if I were a guy, I would be Sean - he's like my male doppleganger,' she said.

Courtney revealed that she has been a better path, focusing on herself and her acting endeavors.

'I just became determined to claw my way up that greasy pole,' she added.

'The best way is to walk the line and be a good girl, and really focus on learning my craft more than I have in the past. I'm paying my dues, and it's been good for me.'
