David de Gea remains focused on Manchester United's tour of America, despite the ongoing uncertainty surrounding his future at the club.
The 24-year-old goalkeeper has been openly courted by Real Madrid all summer, but as of yet the Spanish giants have not launched a formal bid. However, with Spain stopper Iker Casillas having left the Santiago Bernabeu for Porto on Saturday, their opening offer could be imminent.
De Gea, who has just one year left on his current contract at United, is thought to be open to a move back to the city where he grew up, but has commendably not shirked his pre-season responsibilities.

And according to reports in Spain on Wednesday, it seems that Real are prepared to wait for De Gea's contract to expire in 12 months time and subsequently 'reward' him for his patience.
Leading with the headline 'Bulletproof De Gea', Madrid-based publication Marca claims that the Spanish giants will 'compensate' the United No 1 with £3.5million next summer, if they can't sign him now.
De Gea's Old Trafford goalkeeping team-mate Victor Valdes did not fly out to the States having attracted the attention of Turkish side Antalyaspor. But he tweeted on Tuesday: 'After a hard training session this morning, I am working hard for this season! Come on you Reds!!!!'.
Louis van Gaal's side play four games in the States, taking on Club America (July 17), San Jose Earthquakes (July 21), Barcelona (July 25) and Paris Saint-Germain (July 29).
De Gea was joined in pre-season training by a clutch of new signings, including Bastian Schweinsteiger, Morgan Schneiderlin and Memphis Depay.

United are reluctant to sell De Gea, who scooped their Player of the Year award last season, and want to tie him down to a new long-term deal.
But with United in the market for new defenders, Madrid may have an in if they offer Sergio Ramos in a part-exchange as a makeweight.
Van Gaal will also be keen to reinforce his attacking contingent after Robin van Persie completed his move to Fenerbahce.
The Dutchman said: 'It was a situation where I could see it coming, if I'm really honest.
'I could get used to the idea for quite a bit. It was not a situation where it was just happening from day to day so I could get used to the situation – that is football.
'From my side, there are no hard feelings with how it went. It's part of football, it's part of life. I had a good moment with the players the day before I came to Istanbul so that was special. Then you see that everyone really appreciated my time there - that was important for me.'
And another player who could be heading for the exit is Angel di Maria with Paris Saint-Germain willing to pay £43million for the forward.
Di Maria joined United for £59.7m last year but struggled after being dropped from the team and enduring a break-in at his Cheshire home.
