Arsenal's pre-season is set to get underway in the 2015 Barclays Asia Trophy Tournament, in Singapore on Wednesday, and new signing Petr Cech is already looking to cement his place in the team's first XI.
On Tuesday, goalkeeper Cech, who spent 11 seasons at London rivals Chelsea, produced a vintage double save much to the delight of the watching fans, as Arsenal held an open training session at the Sports Hub National Stadium.
Having taken part in a more private training session at the Singapore American School earlier in the day, the 33-year-old looked the part in goal at the stadium, as he begins his quest to displace Wojciech Szczesny and David Ospina.
Petr Cech initially showed off his reflexes, saving a header from close range after an excellent cross from playmaker Mesut Ozil
The ex-Chelsea goalkeeper then made a save with his legs following a fiercely struck left-footed follow up shot

Arsene Wenger has vowed to blood Arsenal's youngsters in the upcoming tournament with Under 21 regulars Chuba Akpom, Dan Crowley, Chris Willock and Gedion Zelalem all travelling to Singapore with the team.
The French manager frequently gives his fringe players a chance to shine prior to the start of new campaigns and spoke of doing the same this year.
'For us it’s important because it’s a football game and the best way to test where you stand in pre-season is to see how far you are and how quickly we can find our game back.
'As well it’s a good opportunity for me to give a chance to players who are on the fringe of the team and to see how close they are to contributing,' he told the club's website.
'That can influence my decisions before the transfer market is over.'
Ahead of Wednesday's fixture, Wenger, who managed Japanese side Nagoya Grampus before taking over at Arsenal in 1996, also spoke of how his team needs to be fully focused for the match.
'I have a good experience because I worked in Asia,' he said.
'I know that usually these teams will be focused, they know that they play Arsenal and they prepare for this game for a long time.'
