As a member of one of the most famous reality family's in the world, appearance is everything.

So in keeping with the high maintenance it takes to be a Kardashian, Kylie Jenner headed to the nail salon on Monday.

The 17-year-old stopped off at the Nail Bar and Beauty Lounge in Beverly Hills to enjoy some pampering.

The youngest member of the Kardashian/ Jenner family wore a casual style for the trip, her brunette locks pulled up in a topknot.

The star gave herself some added height in a pair of beige high pointed heels that she teamed with a pair of ripped jeans and a white top slashed at the sides.

Kylie accessorised with a gold chain choker and bangles.

Her make-up, as usual, was perfect.

She posted a shot of her manicure on Instagram and showed off lemon yellow nails.

On her fingers were a number of rings in gold with unusual swirling patterns.

Another hair change: She showed off her growing out undercut and told social media followers she was thinking of getting her head shaved again

The teenager also commented on Instagram after posting a photo of the back of her hair she was thinking of shaving her head again.

She captioned the shot: 'Post shaved head. Thinking of shaving it off again.'

Kylie is just shy of her 18th birthday but she is already working harder than most.

Earlier on Monday she was seen heading to yet more filming of reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians on Monday in some sky high heels.

The had a different look for the show she wore a pair of thigh high boots which she teamed with a simple white shirt dress ensemble

Kylie has been taking part in filming of the eleventh season of the E! series in between spending her downtime with the rapper.

Always having to make sure she is en pointe in the fashion stakes for the show, she completed her look with a black furry Fendi bag and oversized frames.

Her dark brown bob was instead slicked in a tousled style.

Her outing to filming was just a day after she went for a dinner date with 25-year-old boyfriend Tyga at Nobu in Malibu.

The teenage star's relationship with Tyga has been in the headlines recently.

Kylie is super busy these days as she is also counting down to her 18th birthday. While on the red carpet for her hair extension launch she dished on how she plans to celebrate.

'The first thing I want to do is maybe have like a birthday party and then maybe go on a trip with just my friends,' she told E!.

'I'm legal, so I can go on a trip legally without a chaperone, so that'll be fun, just a girl trip.'
