The Mallrats star had originally listed the property, which has an ocean view, in February for $2.595 million.

It is not known how much the one-time Playboy cover girl paid for the spread.

Though the home is not flashy by Hollywood standards, it is on the larger side with four bedrooms and three bathrooms. There is also a swimming pool and working fireplaces.

In real estate listing photos, the exterior of the home appeared to be worn-in with black marks on wood paneling and an uneven, cracked driveway.

Inside, the house had a cozy feel with velvet couches and Oriental carpets over charming wood floors that are in good condition.

The kitchen is white and roomy, and seems to have been somewhat update in the past decade.

The floor plan has a semi-open feel with only a wet bar dividing the living room and dining room.

The total square feet is 3,600.  It also sits on a quarter acre and is located in the suburban Malibu Country Estates.

It was built in 1977 and looks to have had no major renovations since then.

There were many times when the Heathers actress almost lost the home to foreclosure.

In 2009, 2011 and 2012, notices declared that the house was in default and would go to public auction, according to Yahoo! Homes.

In late 2012 'the creditor withdrew its demand for sale and canceled its default notice,' the site noted.

Doherty's trust still owns a Malibu home that she bought in 2004 and tried to sell in 2008 and 2009.

'It too faced foreclosure for a time, with a couple of notices of default issued and canceled in 2010 and 2011,' Yahoo! Homes added.

After 90210, the star appeared on the TV series Charmed but left at the end of the third season. Then came the cadid camera show Scare Tactics and later a regular role on North Shore.

The Memphis native is best known in recent years for her stint on the ABC competition show Dancing With The Stars, where her father was often in attendance.

Shannen recently filmed the TV movie All I Want For Christmas with Antonio Sabato Jr, which will come out later this year.

Earlier this year she worked on Off the Map with Shannen and Holly, now airing on Great American Country with friend Holly Marie Combs.

At the time she got into a public argument with 90210 co-star Jason Priestley after he had criticized her in his new book.

She told People, 'I didn't diss [Jason] or put him down, we just have a different memory of the past. I love Jason, but you know he had a car accident … a racing accident, and I think maybe parts of his memory got altered from that.

In 2011 she wed Kurt Iswarienko.
