Blooming gorgeous: Geri Halliwell brightens up the summer showers in a floral print blouse and distressed denim jeans

Geri Halliwell left her husband Christian Horner at home on Monday, and looked like a ray of sunshine in a summery ensemble as she emjoyed a stroll around Hampstead, London.

Despite a little bit of rain, the 42-year-old singer opted for a light coloured blouse with a floral print pattern and ripped jeans, as she visited a friend in the leafy London area.

The former Spice Girl managed to pull-off a dressed down look teaming her pretty blouse with a pair of ripped jeans.

Geri - who married Red Bull F1 guru Christian in May - looked in high-spirits despite the grey skies.

The mother-of-one channelled the essence of summer in a floaty, long-sleeved, pink blouse that featured a complementing lavender flower print.

Rounding off her ensemble the former Ginger Spice wore a pair of nude stiletto heels - lending a swish and smart edge to her relaxed look.

Leaving her famous red hair loose, the star's mane looked slightly tousled by the breeze. 

Going largely make-up free the singer only used a minimal amount of make-up - letting her pretty features shine through.

Geri accessorized her simple yet stylish outfit with a blue leather handbag and a pair of aviator sunglasses. 

The multi-talented star - who's an avid tennis fan - was last pictured at Wimbledon with her handsome husband on Friday.

Wearing a stylish, blue checked suit and white blouse, the star cut an elegant and poised figure at the famous sporting event. 

Geri and Christian, 41, looked ever-inch the newlyweds that they are as they put on a loving display in the stands.

But being the keen tennis fan that she is, Geri couldn't resist getting a picture of herself and Christian at the hallowed tennis event, sharing the snap on Instagram.
