Cara Delevingne is worlds away from her supermodel status playing super-villain Enchantress as she smooches handsome co-star in the new trailer for Suicide Squad

She's one of the hottest models in the world, who has campaigned for the likes of Chanel, Givenchy and Yves Saint Laurent.

But Cara Delevingne is now trying to make her mark in the acting world having landed the role of the supervillainous Enchantress in her first ever Hollywood blockbuster film, Suicide Squad.

In the first trailer released, the 22-year-old model looks worlds away from her supermodel status as she cuts an unglamorous figure, playing lonely alter-ego June Moone.

Starting off as a normal blond haired young woman (June), the model can be seen getting passionate with a handsome co-star before stumbling upon the powers of Enchantress.

During an adventure in a cave, the eerie character encounters a magical demon named Dzamor.

The next scene shows Cara sitting in a pool of dirty water, looking scared as she realises her transition.

Meanwhile, in a recent interview with Empire magazine, the British star questioned the outfits that a lot of female superheroes wear.

‘There are only three girls in [Suicide Squad] but in my opinion they have the best roles,’ she confessed. ‘Generally though, superhero movies are totally sexist.

‘Female superheroes are normally naked or in bikinis. No-one would be able to fight like that. Wonder Woman, how the hell does she fight? She would be dead in a minute.’
