Their fashionable love affair was sealed on the golden sands of Australia's Jervis Bay last year with a cover shoot for Vogue Australia.

And it seems Kim Kardashian and Vogue Australia's fashion director Christine Centenera's kinship runs deeper than their mutual love of designer threads.

The glamorous BFF's spent Monday night enjoying an intimate dinner for two at celebrity hot spot Craig's in Los Angeles, and made time for a ubiquitous selife.

The sartorial sweethearts are old friends after famously being introduced by Kim's other half, Kanye, 38, years ago.

The rapper collaborated with the Australian fashion guru on his Spring Summer 2012 New York Fashion Week show, as well as some of his tours in recent years and places a lot of trust in her style.

Since then, Christine has been credited for Kim's edgy high-fashion makeover, including her sexy gold Jean Paul Gaultier designed Grammy's gown.

In January, at the E! International Press Junket in Los Angeles, the reality star told Dailymail.com it is the Vogue Australia Fashion Director she most admires when it comes to her wardrobe.

'I really like Christine Centenera from Australia,' she said.

Citing her as a style icon because of her eclectic look, Kim explained: 'I like when someone's really put together but looks effortless'.

'She just knows every accessory to tie an outfit together,' she said, before adding: 'She puts different things together that you wouldn't think of.'

The glowing endorsement came just days before the reveal of Kim's February cover for Vogue Australia.
