Prior to Monday's good news, Meghan had posted a video to Instagram with her apologizing for having to take time off to rest her vocal chords.

The video, shared earlier this month, shows Meghan in the doctor's office as she has her vocal chords inspected.

A TV screen shows the inside of her throat as the doctor examines the damage.

Eventually the doctor says: 'You're going to need significant rest in order to get back into the tour situation...meaning cancel everything.'

Feeling better: Despite the doctor's bad news, Meghan mentioned in the snap that she's 'feeling much better, have already rescheduled most dates and will come back around to see you all soon!!'; the singer is seen here in May on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon
