She always looks immaculate, and has nailed every look from top to toe as she keeps it up in the fashion stakes in the aftermath of her split with long time partner Scott Disick.

But it seems the pressure could be getting to Kourtney Kardashian, who was seen showing grey hair when she went to filming for the latest episode of the family's reality show on Monday.

The 36-year-old wore her hair slicked back in a middle part and low plait as she headed to the studios.

But her jet black tresses were a lighter shade of pale at her temples.

Kourtney kicked her partner of over nine years to the kerb last week in the wake of his hard partying.

The last straw was when pictures emerged of him getting hands on with rumoured ex girlfriend Chloe Bartoli on a recent holiday to the French Riviera.

Kourtney Kardashian joined her sisters in LA donning a slick look- if you squint your eyes and tilt your head, she kind of looks like a Robert Palmer girl.

The raven haired beauty paid homage to 'The Police' and sported their tank along with extreme distressed jeans and some killer metallic pumps.

It is the first time she has been seen with grey hair, which could very well have been brought on by the stress of dealing with the split and the repercussions it could have on the couple's three children - Mason, five, Penelope, three, and Reign, seven months.

Legend has it French Queen Marie Antoinette's hair went white the night before she was due to be guillotined.

And while scientists say it is highly unlikely this may have been the case, they do say that stress can contribute to the greying process.

Most women start to lose the colour in the their hair at the age of 35 upwards, and men at 30.

However it can start even earlier for some, for example in their late teens, and for others doesn't occur until their 50's.

The greying process begins inside the sunken pits in the scalp which are called follicles.

At the bottom of each of these follicles is a hair-growing factory where cells work together to assemble coloured hair.

As teh hair is constructed, pigment called melanin, which comes in two shades - a dark brown and black or a yellow and red.

This makes the up the colour of our hair - however as people get older, they begin to lose this pigment, resulting in them going grey, or if they lose all their melanin, white.

With the vast array of beauty products and treatments the Kardashians have at their disposal, there is no doubt if Kourtney has any concerns about sporting silver locks, she can do something about going back to black.

There is no doubt that the fall out from her split from Scott will have caused anxiety and tension for the star, and she may just have too many other things to worry about than keep up dying her tresses their usual deep brunette.

Whatever her hair stress, the mum of three still looked impeccable for the filming meet on Tuesday.

Kourtney showed off her toned arms in a sleeveless top that had the band Police emblazoned the front.

Her post-baby upper body was cloaked by the rocker T-shirt but her lean legs could be seen through the tattered denim jeans.

She added more height to her petite frame with a pair of metallic pointed high heels which matched the silver bangles around her wrists.

KUWTK creator Ryan Seacrest appeared on The Today Show on Monday and shared his thoughts on Kourtney.

'The show is reality, so whatever happens, happens in real time," Seacrest said.

'But obviously you hate to see a split with the people that you know and the family that you know and love, so hopefully things can work out for the best for them. But never a dull moment in that world.'
