She's always been proud of her naturally curly hair and Minnie Driver's son showed off his matching locks when the pair stepped out on Tuesday.

Arriving at Los Angeles International Airport, Minnie, 45, placed a protective arm around her six-year-old child as they made their way through the terminal.

Her only child wore a cheeky expression on his face as he rode along on a silver suitcase.

The London-born actress was suitably dressed for a long-haul flight in a casual ensemble.

Minnie slipped into a pair of black and white paisley-printed trousers, a black cardigan and a pair of pristine white trainers.

The singer went make-up-free for the journey ahead and attempted to keep a low profile by wearing a pair of dark wayfarer sunglasses.

Meanwhile, Minnie's first born was equally as casually dressed in a pair of grey combat shorts, a blue motif T-shirt and a pair of navy Crocs.

The young lad was evidently in a playful mood as he hopped on his suitcase and rode through the airport building while his mother walked alongside him.

Minnie kept the identity of Henry's father a secret until he was three years old.

Television producer Timothy J Lea - who co-wrote American TV series The Riches - is Henry's father.

Speaking to the Observer in 2012, she said: 'Is he a good dad? Sort of. He's figuring it out... I mean, he hasn't been that involved, his choice. But he is now.' 

Earlier this year it was revealed she is now dating 51-year-old Neville Wakefield.

Neville, a writer and well-known art curator, has two teenage sons, Atticus and Jackson, with his ex-wife, stylist and former Vogue fashion editor Camilla Nickerson. 

The couple split after 10 years of marriage in 2004.
