With Arsenal's Barclays Asia Trophy campaign beginning on Wednesday, the players have been continuing their pre-season preparations with sessions in gruelling humidity.
The Gunners take on the Singapore Select XI for a place in Saturday's final, where they will either face Stoke City or Everton.
Some of the players wound down in the pool after training pool Calum Chambers, Mikel Arteta, Theo Walcott, Olivier Giroud, Santi Cazorla and Aaron Ramsey took part in a game of headers.

A video was posted on Arsenal's Instagram page and with temperatures reaching more than 30 degrees, the dip would have been a much-needed for the stars, who aren't used to such conditions.
New signing Petr Cech already looks at home as he joined Emiliano Martinez and Wojciech Szczesny for some goalkeeping drills during the session.
Former Chelsea stopper Cech joined the club for £10million and looks set to be installed as the new No 1.
Arsene Wenger will be hoping to build on the promise of last season when his side were arguably the most impressive team during the final months of the Premier League.

However, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is looking to put the last campaign behind him after struggling with a series of injuries as his progress at Arsenal stalled.
With Euro 2016 coming up at the end of the season, the 21-year-old will be hoping to catch Roy Hodgson's eye and earn himself a place in the England squad but he knows he needs to be in tip-top condition.
Chamberlain looked in good spirits as he took part in a passing drill with fellow midfielder Arteta, who is also hoping to put injury issues behind him.

One of Arsenal's biggest stars who isn't in Singapore is Alexis Sanchez, as he's been granted extra leave following a busy summer of football.
The former Barcelona star is enjoying a well-earned holiday after a long season which ended with him converting the winning penalty in the Copa America final as Chile became champions of South America for the first time.
The 26-year-old is expected to report for pre-season on August 3 - the day after Arsenal meet Chelsea at Wembley in the Community Shield and less than a week before the Premier League opener, another London derby at the Emirates Stadium against West Ham.
