Minka Kelly was lovely in white as she stepped out in Beverly Hills on Wednesday hours after taking to Twitter to deny she's dating Sean Penn.

The actress, 35, wore a white tank top that she knotted at the waist and a white cotton skirt with buttons running down the front.

Her long brunette hair was sleek and shiny having just been freshly styled at an upscale salon.

The daughter of former Aerosmith guitarist Rick Dufay paired her white ensemble with some nude sandals and carried a tan tote.

She wore sunglasses and kept her eyes down as she strolled along the street.

Her trip to the salon came after an early morning workout session at the Rise Movement gym in West Hollywood where she'd been spotted in athletic gear with her hair pulled back into a ponytail.

The former girlfriend of baseball player Derek Jeter and actor Chris Evans has been the focus of attention recently after Sean Penn showed up for her birthday party.

The rumor will went into overdrive when the Friday Night Lights star celebrated her birthday with a group of friends in California's Napa Valley on June 24.

Among the four guests was Penn, 54, who reportedly told the others that he and Minka had first met at a charity event supporting Haiti.

The Oscar-winning actor, who was previously married to House Of Cards star Robin Wright and Madonna, recently split from girlfriend Charlize Theron.

But the actress made it clear that there's no truth to the dating rumors.

Early Wednesday, she tweeted: 'Not my nature to address gossip but hoping this last one goes away already. Not dating a friend I had a group dinner with. #Sillymedia.'
