A model look: Cara Delevingne has a hair-raising moment in stunning previously unseen high fashion shoot

She began her modelling career in 2009 aged just 17 after being spotted by Storm founder Sarah Doukas, who famously discovered Kate Moss.

And before taking the fashion industry by storm two years later, Cara Delevingne posed for a stunning photoshoot with esteemed photographer Andrew J. Hobbs.

The 22-year-old supermodel proved she's always been a natural in front of the camera in these throwback images for a Lebanese publication, previously unseen in the UK.

Cara can be seen modelling a variety of ladylike looks in the pictures, which range from black and white beauty shots to high fashion editorial looks.

The catwalk diva sports a voluminous blow-dry and a string of pearls in one picture, her symmetrical features highlighted with retro double eyeliner flicks and shimmering gloss.

Another sees her long honey blonde locks coiffed into a bouffant hairdo, with dazzling earrings framing her face.

The down-to-earth model is a household name these days with an acting career to boot, with films including indie romance Paper Towns and future blockbuster Suicide Squad on her CV.

Cara's notoriety means she can no longer leave the house without being recognised, but she's come up with a crafty trick to prevent being mobbed.

'I don't have a bodyguard and I dress casually most of the time so people come up to me and are like, "Oh you kind of look like that model Cara blah blah."

'I'm like "I don't know who that is' or oh no, not that ugly girl", she told OK! magazine.

"I always say no. They say 'you look like that girl' and I'm like "No, don't say that - she's horrible".'
