Flame-haired beauty Nicola Roberts is chic in blue and white stripes as she and sister Frankie turn out for fashion bash

In place of her four former bombshell bandmates, Nicole Roberts brought along a stunner from her own family to attend a private dinner with Henry Holland on Thursday night.

Girls Aloud star Nicola was joined by younger sister Frankie at a  showcase for her designer pal's Resort 2016 collection.

And the two redheads were dressed (and tressed) to impress as they turned out in sophisticated maxi dresses for the occasion.

Nicola added vintage-style black court shoes to the look to complete her image, showing off her super-svelte frame in blue and white horizontal stripes.

She looked simply exquisite with a dark cat eye flick on her lids and her flame-coloured hair swept into a classic, high-rise hairstyle.

Fashion blogger Frankie kept things minimal in a navy blue midi and white peep toe heels, similarly opting for dark eye make-up and a nude lipstick to complement her sister.

Nicola, a keen fashion follower, was supporting her friend Henry, whose fashion house was originally set up in 2008.

It's little wonder that Nicola is front and centre for all of his shows and exhibitions, because she was hailed his 'muse and heroine' during an interview with Stylist magazine in 2010.

The pair previously worked together on Sky Living's Styled To Rock, which featured Rihanna as executive producer and the inspiration for a group of British students who were striving for success in the fashion industry.

Nicola has most recently presented her own style-themed documentary for BBC iPlayer, called High Street Hijabis.

She and Muslim style and beauty vlogger Nabiilabee explore 'modest fashion' and how Muslim women are balancing their Western identities with their Eastern religion and cultures.

Her thoughts have recently turned back to music nonetheless and the starlet revealed to Radio 1's Newsbeat that she's writing for other musicians.

'At the minute I've just been taking time to write for other artists. It's been four years since Cinderella's Eyes [her debut solo album] and in that four years I've changed quite a lot as a person.

'I think you need time to figure out the sounds you are inspired by and I've got some really exciting artists cutting some songs that I'm really excited by.'
