Peter Andre and his newly wedded wife Emily MacDonagh have had to postpone their honeymoon after the TV star was dragged into a bitter High Court row, according to latest reports.

The Mirror newspaper claims that the Australian singer has been called as a witness in a contract dispute between his former TV producer Neville Hendricks and ITV2.

Hendricks is said to be seeking £549,060 for damages and costs from ITV2 after they cancelled his show involving the reality TV star and Kerry Katona.

In his evidence, the case suggests Peter had planned to expose his former wife Katie Price - with whom he has children Junior,10, and eight-year-old Princess - as a ‘love cheat’ to boost his profile and cause to ‘distress’ to the former glamour model.

Hendricks, who was previously married to Peter's manager Claire Powell, allegedly revealed that Peter found Harvey, Katie’s disabled son by footballer Dwight Yorke, ‘difficult to be with and be around.’

Peter, who married 25-year-old Emily in a lavish ceremony over the weekend, is expected to give evidence in court on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, the father-of-three and his new bride returned to their Surrey home on Tuesday.

Proud groom Peter shared a photo online of him carrying Emily over the threshold on his Instagram page and he captioned the snap: 'Carrying my new wife over the threshold :)))).'

Peter's social media share came as the couple's wedding photos were published exclusively in OK! magazine on Tuesday.

In the accompanying interview, Peter gushed over his bride: 'I feel like the luckiest man in the world as I have married the most beautiful girl in the world, who is also my best friend.

'I have my soulmate for life by my side.’

After the ceremony, Peter said: ‘Seeing Emily for the first time in her dress was incredible. She took my breath away. She’s the most beautiful bride I’ve ever seen. I couldn’t help but well up!’

Their romantic, country wedding day at the historic Georgian mansion Mamhead House was a far cry from Peter's nuptials to first wife Katie back in 2005.

Katie wore a pink gown and arrived in a Cinderella carriage, while Peter wore a white suit and hair extensions.

Peter and Emily started dating in summer 2012 after meeting two years previously when her surgeon father Dr Ruaraidh performed emergency surgery on the star to remove kidney stones.

A year into their romance, the couple announced they were expecting their first child together, with daughter Amelia born in January 2014.

Their romance came after the singer enjoyed short romances with ex-WAG Elen Rivas and model Maddy Ford following his high-profile split from Katie in May 2009.
