Aaron Paul may have been celebrating some big news while out on the town with friends.

The 35-year-old Breaking Bad actor was spotted dining with pals in trendy West Hollywood on Tuesday after fueling rumors he's linked to the Star Wars spin-off movie about Han Solo, titled Rogue One.

The star was seen leaving Madeo restaurant in trendy West Hollywood.

The star wore a simple black ensemble complete with black boots and a simple bomber jacket while catching up with friends at the Italian restaurant.

He down-to-earth actor appeared surprised by the attention, squinting quizzically as he made his way to a waiting SUV.

The talented Paul dropped a big hint on social media last week, posting a screen shot showing Star Wars is now officially following him on Twitter.

The happy-go-lucky actor seemed thrilled with the development, writing 'My dreams are coming true. They started following me' and adding '#StarWars'.

The Bojack Horseman actor is reportedly involved in the Star Wars spin-off movie Rogue One, which will focus on the character of Han Solo, who was played by Harrison Ford in the original trilogy.

It's not yet clear whether he will be playing the rebel space pirate, but no doubt many Breaking Bad fans believe he can pull off the iconic role.

Star Wars fans were sent into a frenzy at Comic-Con on Friday when they were shown a behind-the-scene video on the set of the upcoming Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Rumors of Paul's possible Star Wars involvement have been swirling since December, when Jason Ward, Editor-in-chief of Star Wars fan site Making Star Wars, claimed to have been given details of the top secret Han Solo production from a source.

Late last year, he wrote: 'They went on to say the word around the current production at Pinewood is that Aaron Paul is looking to be attached to the first Star Wars spin-off film in some fashion.'

The plot of Star Wars: Rogue One centers on group planning to steal the Death Star, it was revealed in April.

British actress Felicity Jones has been confirmed as a lead in the film. The Oscar-nominated Theory of Everything star will play a rebel solider.

Australian actor and Bloodline star Ben Mendelsohn and Oscar winner Forrest Whitaker have also been cast in the film, but producers are staying mum on Paul's possible involvement.

Co-star? British actress Felicity Jones, seen at the Vanity Fair Oscars after-party in February, has been cast as the lead in Star Wars: Rogue One. She will play a rebel soldier.

Godzilla director Gareth Evans will direct Star Wars: Rogue One, which is the first of a series of planned Star Wars anthology films.

The movie will take place between Episode III and Episode IV.

In February, LucasFilm announced three feature-length spin-off movies would be released in 2016, 2018 and 2020 between the releases of the main Star Wars movies.

It's the first time a spin-off has been made in connection to the franchise.

The iconic series will be rebooted with Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which reunites original cast members Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher, who play Luke Skywalker, Han Solo and Princess Leia respectively.

The Force Awakens - the first film since Disney took over the Star Wars brand - will be released on December 18, 2015.

If the spin-off rumors are true, it will provide the perfect platform for Paul to become a Hollywood success on the big screen following his stellar run as Jesse Pinkman in Breaking Bad.

The role catapulted him to fame across the globe and won him a raft of awards between 2008 and 2013.
