She announced her split from Antonio Banderas last June, and almost a year later, it looks like Melanie Griffith's 'permanent' mark of their love is gone.

The 57-year-old actress famously had her ex-partner's name tattooed on her upper arm inside a heart, but the inking has been slowly fading since they announced their impending divorce.

The mother-of-three showed off her nearly-gone tattoo and gym-honed legs in a black dress with red and white dots as she stepped out in West Hollywood on Wednesday.

Melanie, who is set to star in new ABC sitcom The Brainy Bunch, wore her long blonde hair up in a Brigitte Bardot-style bun and added to her retro look with a pair of 1950s sunglasses.

The actress looked years younger than her 57, showing off both cleavage and legs in the cute, summery dress and black flats.

Shortly after they announced the break-up, Melanie began using make-up to cover the Antonio love-heart tattoo, which she had inked on her right arm in honor of her third, soon-to-be ex-husband Banderas.

However, recent photographs of Melanie appears to confirm that she has been under-going painful laser treatments to phase out the love gesture.

Melanie, who has children Alexander Bauer, 29, Dakota Johnson, 26, and Stella del Carmen Banderas 18, wore her hair down and added height with a pair of teetering black heels.
