Ashlee Simpson was displaying a very large baby bump when she went shopping with husband Evan Ross on Thursday.

The 30-year-old actress, who is at least eight months along in her second pregnancy, wore a tight black dress that did nothing to hide her round midsection.

But her large belly did not get in the way of a little PDA as her spouse of one year planted a passionate kiss on her as soon as she exited a Los Angeles mall where the two bought sodas.

The Melrose Place actress had a long black jacket over her black dress, which reached her knees, and coordinated with black jazz shoes.

But the Texas native gave her glam squad the day off as she went makeup free and without her long blonde locks styled.

There was no mistaking that he is still very in love with his wife as he could be seen embracing her strongly while planting a kiss on her head.

She has not yet even hinted at that, but the Pieces Of Me singer has confirmed that she is expecting a girl.

In February she told UsWeekly, 'I like to know — I want to do the nursery. I’m just excited for the new addition.' On Monday she shared a photo of a green Chanel diaper bag Ross had bought for her.

The 7th Heaven star already has a six year old son, Bronx, with ex-husband Pete Wentz.

Simpson has said that Bronx is very excited to be a big brother 'I told him pretty early on,' the beauty said of telling her son there would be another family member.

'He wanted to have a sister, so he’s really excited! He’s got a little brother. Now he’s going to have a little sister!'

Bronx is already big brother to Saint Laszlo, Wentz’s one year old son with girlfriend Meagan Camper.

In late June Ross told People during the OmniPeace‘s Rwanda Rocks! campaign in Beverly Hills they have already chosen a name for their little girl.

'Yeah, it’s unique,' the Life Support star said. 'You guys will figure out the story behind it once we tell the name.'

The actor also said that their child will be spoiled. 'That’s the main goal. She’s going to come into this world being spoiled by her family and by my family. They can’t help it.'

But until the baby arrives, he will be spoiling his wife. 'I’m just taking care of her. That’s my job right now.'

Simpson and Ross got engaged in January 2014 after dating for almost a year and wed on August 30 on Diana's Connecticut estate.
