She has enjoyed almost half a century in the spotlight after shooting to fame in her early twenties.

But Goldie Hawn proved age is certainly just a number as she showed off her slim figure during a dinner date at Italian restaurant Toscanova on Tuesday night.

The 69-year-old actress displayed her toned pins in a pair of stonewash ripped skinny jeans, which displayed her enviable figure to perfection.

The First Wives Club star flattered her toned arms as she teamed her distressed denim with a low-cut black vest with an unusual tapered hemline.

Showcasing the deep tan she acquired during her recent family holiday in Greece, Goldie accessorised her outfit with a simple gold pendant, and wore her blonde locks tumbling around her shoulders loosely.

The Hollywood icon completed her ensemble with an oversized beach-style bag, and teetered on a pair of nude platform strappy sandals.

Strolling inside the eatery alone, Goldie looked content and happy as she enjoyed her low-key evening out in the Californian sunshine.

The star was without her long-term partner, actor Kurt Russell, for the occasion.

But on Sunday evening, she revealed the smitten pair had spent the night watching 1978 movie Overboard, in which they both star.

In a Twitter message accompanied by an heart emoji, she told her followers it was the first time they had seen a full run through of the comedy since its release.

She wrote: 'Kurt n I snuggled up and watched The Overboard together. The first time we have seen it all the way thru since it came out. Now that's romance.' (sic)

The showbiz couple have been together for the past 32 years, raising Hollywood megastar Kate Hudson, 36, and her actor brother Oliver, 38, the biological children of Goldie's ex-husband Bill Hudson.

Last month, the bitter feud between Bill and his children flared as Oliver posted a 'Happy abandonment day' message on Instagram on Father's Day.

After Oliver posted the un-happy Father's Day message to the world, Bill publicly disowned him.

In an interview with the Daily Mail, Bill said, ‘I had five birth children but I now consider myself a father of three. I no longer recognise Oliver and Kate as my own.'

'I am mourning their loss even though they are still walking this earth.’

But on Saturday, Kurt Russell appeared at Comic-Con in San Diego and said the flames of fury have since simmered down.

He explained: 'I understood Oliver's sense of humor and since then, there's been some nice back and forth between Bill and Oliver and that's nice to see. You want people to enjoy life as much as they can.'

The actor was at the fan convention to talk about working with Quentin Tarantino on the western The Hateful Eight.
