Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner have both been wearing their wedding bands even though they announced in June they would be filing for divorce.

On Thursday the Argo filmmaker was seen striding through a Beverly Hills parking garage on his way to a meeting with the gold band firmly on his ring finger.

It comes one day after he was seen taking the family dog with him to his office without the ring on his finger, prompting a continuous guessing game of 'where's Ben's ring today? On or off?'

On/off game: The actor, 42, ditched the wedding band on Tuesday as he went to his office in Beverly Hills but had worn it last Saturday when he made an appearance at Comic-Con

Turns out the 42-year-old Batman v Superman actor and the 43-year-old Dallas Buyers Club star are doing it the 'now you see it, now you don't' ring thing for the sake of their three children - Violet, nine, Seraphina, six, and Samuel, three.

People quoted a source close to the couple on Wednesday who told the magazine: 'The kids are a big part of why they're still wearing them.'

UsWeekly reported the former power couple are 'cordial' with each other, but are communicating only through text.

Affleck looked somber Wednesday as he headed out in jeans, converse sneakers and a blue striped shirt that he left untucked.

While his estranged wife is filming a movie in Atlanta, Georgia, and has the children with her, the Oscar winner has been living alone at the family mansion in Pacific Palisades.

It's been reported the former couple will continue to share the same property as they continue to co-parent.

Affleck returned to California after spending time with his children in Atlanta to fulfill his obligations to promote Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice, appearing at Comic-Con in San Diego last Saturday.

He wore his ring for the movie's Q&A panel with fans.

On Monday, he was seen tooling around LA in a new limited edition 2015 Dodge Challenger Hellcat which, it's claimed, he bought over the phone for $90,000.

Meanwhile, Garner is putting on a brave face in front of the kids as she films Miracles From Heaven, according to USWeekly's source.

'The kids are with her, which is all she wants. She's as strong as ever,' said the insider.

The Alias star, who was married to Scott Foley before she fell for Affleck on the set of Daredevil, wants Ben's involvement with the little ones.

'Her main focus right now is that Ben will be there for the kids and he has been this week,' said the source. 'She's happy that the kids are happy.'
