Fergie puts on a leggy display in eye-wateringly TINY cut-off denim shorts and racy knee-high boots as she runs errands

She previously admitted finding it hard to lose weight following the birth of her son Axl in 2013. 

But Fergie has clearly been putting in the hours at the gym as she showcased her toned legs in a pair of eye-wateringly tiny denim hot pants while running errands in Los Angeles on Wednesday.

The 40-year-old singer put her defined legs on full display in the cut-off shorts, which she teamed with a skin-tight black vest to show off her cleavage.

Giving the style her signature edge, the Black Eyed Peas star finished the look with a pair of racy, knee-high black trainers, a black and white paisley shirt and scarf.

Possibly hoping to go under the radar, the star concealed her face beneath a pair of black sunglasses and black LA Dodgers baseball cap. 

Clutching her Givenchy 'Favelas 74' handbag, the London Bridge singer - who has been busy recording her second album - was positively beaming as she smiled while making her way into a nearby building.

Despite rocking a seriously toned figure, Fergie recently revealed that she struggled to find the motivation to lose weight after she welcomed her son with husband Josh Duhamel.

'I was lazy with cardio after having the baby – but, in the end, I actually missed a good sweat. I feel great after a work-out and, eventually, I craved it,' she told the MailOnline.

'I have a trainer and I work out all the time. Like, three times a week. I do push-ups, squats, cardio, dance classes, jogging, elliptical and others.

'Some weeks are better than others, but it helps if I just have juice for the first half of the day.'

Along with recording her upcoming EP, Fergie has been busy mothering her one-year-old son. 

Last Friday the star was seen doting on her little boy as they sported matching bright ensembles for a trip to the park. 

Donning a multi-coloured vest top and another pair of leg-flaunting hot pants, Fergie seemed smitten with her tot as she held has hand and swept him into her arms. 

Despite his infancy, Axl looked to have already adopted his own edgy sense of style in a sleeveless black vest, cut-off shorts, a baseball cap and a pair of colourful Adidas trainers.
